Open Beatz Festival (Herzogenaurach, Germany) 2027

Open Beatz returns to Herzogenaurach from 23 to 25 July 2027, running what the organisers call southern Germany’s prettiest EDM festival on a site just outside Nuremberg. The format has settled at more than 200 artists across 11 stages, covering EDM, big room, hardstyle, techno and house, with short walking distances between stages a point the organisers make repeatedly.

Camping is part of the offer rather than an add on, with a large campsite and a daytime activity programme running alongside the stages. The festival also operates a Loyalty Club that gives returning attendees priority access to tickets, and has run winter editions in past years alongside the summer weekend. The 2027 bill had not been announced at the time of writing, with tickets on sale through the official site.

Herzogenaurach sits around 20 kilometres north west of Nuremberg in Middle Franconia, best known as the home town of both Adidas and Puma. Nuremberg airport is roughly half an hour away and the city’s main station connects to Munich, Frankfurt and Berlin. For anyone building a southern German summer around large stage electronic music, Open Beatz is the regional music festival that holds the late July slot.
