Off Grid Festival Chapter Two (Sutton Coldfield, United Kingdom) 2027

Off Grid Festival returns for Chapter Two on 29 and 30 August 2027, running a two day weekender near Sutton Coldfield on the northern edge of Birmingham. The festival takes its name from the idea of stepping away from everything else for a weekend, and the programming sits in house, techno and bass music across a small number of stages.

Previous editions are documented in official aftermovies on the festival’s own channel, with the 2025 film and an earlier edit between them showing the scale: a compact site, heavy production relative to the capacity and a crowd drawn largely from the West Midlands. The organisers have billed 2027 as Chapter Two, which suggests a reset of the format rather than a straight continuation.

Tickets are sold through Skiddle, which also carries the entry times, camping options and site information closer to the date. Sutton Coldfield sits on the Cross-City railway line with trains from Birmingham New Street in around 20 minutes, which makes the festival unusually easy to reach for a camping weekend. The 2027 line up had not been published at the time of writing. For the West Midlands, it is a growing British music festival.
