Glücksgefühle Festival (Hockenheim, Germany) 2027

Gluecksgefuehle Festival returns to the Hockenheimring from 2 to 5 September 2027, running four days on the Grand Prix circuit in Baden-Wuerttemberg. The organisers bill it as the largest music festival in Germany and the numbers back the claim: up to 250,000 visitors across a million square metres, with 30,000 campers on site and 40 hours of live music across several stages.

The booking spans pop, hip hop, party music and EDM rather than specialising, with more than 50 acts programmed across three main stages, which is how a festival of this scale fills four days. Steve Aoki is among the names that have played recent editions, and the official aftermovies regularly clear 300,000 views. The 2027 line up had not been published at the time of writing.

Camping is a central part of the format rather than an add on, with its own area and facilities, and the site runs cashless payment throughout. The organisers sell combined ticket and hotel packages and work with Partybusse for coach travel from cities across Germany. The Hockenheimring sits between Mannheim and Karlsruhe, with Frankfurt airport around an hour north. For sheer scale in Germany, it is the music festival with no domestic equivalent.
