Glastonbury Festival (Pilton, United Kingdom) 2027

Glastonbury Festival returns to Worthy Farm at Pilton in Somerset from 23 to 27 June 2027, following the fallow year that the site takes roughly every five years to let the land recover. The festival has been held on Michael Eavis’s dairy farm since 1970 and now carries a licensed capacity of around 210,000, making it the largest greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world.

The scale is the point. Beyond the Pyramid and Other stages, the site runs a late night south east corner built on Block9, Shangri-La and Arcadia, where the dance programme sits and where the crowd stays until dawn. Those areas book club and sound system artists on their own terms rather than as a support strand, and they are a large part of why Glastonbury reads as a festival rather than a concert series.

Tickets for 2027 were priced at 408 pounds including the 5 pound booking fee, the highest in the event’s history, sold on a 100 pound deposit with the balance due in the first week of April. Registration closed at 5pm on 25 September 2026, coach and ticket packages went on sale at 6pm on 1 October and general admission followed at 9am on 4 October. Worthy Farm sits between Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury, with coach services and shuttle buses from Castle Cary station. Other UK dates are listed on our music festival page.
