About Beyond Mars Festival
Beyond Mars runs in South Gloucestershire from 3 to 7 June 2027, opening at 13:00 on the Thursday. The organisers describe a boutique electronic festival out in the countryside, programming drum and bass and other heavy electronic music.
The site sits in Gloucestershire near Swindon, far enough from anywhere to run a five day event without a curfew problem, which is what the format needs. Boutique is accurate rather than marketing here: this is a small festival with a specific sound rather than a scaled down version of a big one.
Tickets are sold through the festival’s own site. Bristol and Swindon are both within an hour by road, with Bristol Temple Meads an hour and a half from London by direct train and Bristol Airport 45 minutes from the site. Early June in the west country is mild at around 19 degrees with light until well past 21:00. For a British drum and bass music festival in the countryside, Beyond Mars is the small one worth finding.
