About Kraftfeld
Kraftfeld is a music club and bar at Lagerplatz 18 in the former Sulzer industrial area next to central Winterthur. It has been run since 1996 by a changing group of members of a non-profit cultural association, and in 2010 the team added the bistro Portier on the same site. The interior is built from rescued and repurposed industrial objects. The weekly programme mixes concerts, a Thursday bar night and Friday and Saturday parties with doors at 22:00, ranging from club music and bass nights by local crews such as Eulachbass and Reclaim the Bass to dub, cumbia and Afrobeats. Kraftfeld also runs an awareness team, FINTA DJ workshops and a wheelchair-accessible entrance, bar and toilets.
