Caprices Festival is a Swiss boutique electronic music festival that the organisers trace back to 2004. For most of its life it was staged in the ski resort of Crans-Montana, and the brand has also run editions in Marrakech. For 2027 the festival moves to a new home: Eggli station, 1,600 metres above Gstaad in the Bernese Oberland.
The 2027 edition is the 25th, and the official site describes it as the boutique festival turned up to 25. Caprices Winter Gstaad is split across two weekends, 12 to 14 March and 19 to 21 March 2027. The line-up and ticket details are listed as coming soon, with a newsletter sign-up for updates. In the meantime the organisers are marking the anniversary with a tour of 25 events on the road to Gstaad, dropping city by city until the festival.
Expect house and techno played at altitude in a mountain setting, the format that made the Crans-Montana editions well known. The official site details free shuttle buses running all night from Eggli Talstation to Gsteig, Lauenen, Schonried, Zweisimmen and Rougemont, and points visitors to apartments and chalets in and around Gstaad, Saanen and Schonried, with options starting below CHF 100 per person per night according to the organisers.
