About MAD Club

MAD Club is a nightclub at Rue de Genève 23 in Lausanne, in the Flon district, open since 1985. Its values page is signed by Olivier Fatton and Igor Blaska, and the MAD Group also runs the MadHouse Ibis Styles hotel and MAD Café in Lausanne. The club says it has 6,000 members and 350,000 visitors a year, and it has three entrances: the main door on the Esplanade du Flon, one by the King Size Pub and the JETLAG entrance on Route de Genève.

The building has five floors. The Mainfloor on the ground floor holds up to 1,200 people and has hosted David Guetta, Hardwell, Tiësto and Justice. Above it are La Mezza, a steampunk mezzanine with VIP tables, the Chandelier on the second floor, and JETLAG on the third floor, a 25+ club within the club. The ZOO in the basement plays hard rap. Nights are themed, from house and EDM guests such as Bob Sinclar to reggaeton, afro, 90s and pop parties.

Strictly 18+, and official ID (ID card, passport, driving licence or residence permit) can be asked for at any time. Correct dress suited to the night is required, groups of more than three people of the same sex are refused, and at busy times priority goes to members, guests, couples and regulars.
