About Klunkerkranich
Klunkerkranich is a cultural rooftop garden on the top parking deck of the Neukölln Arcaden shopping centre at Karl-Marx-Straße 66 in Berlin-Neukölln. It has been there since 2013 and calls itself a platform for Berlin club and subculture, with concerts, performances, club nights, DJ sessions, workshops and panel talks. Indoors there is the Wohnzimmer, a bar and lounge with a stage, and Club Hinter Den Alpen, the main dancefloor on parking deck 7. Outside are planted garden areas run with the Horstwirtschaft association, the open-air Ostflügel added in 2022, a cocktail bar and a vegan kitchen by Anok & Peas, all with a wide view over the city. Music covers techno, house, disco and downtempo, and entry is kept low at EUR 3 to 9.
Door policy
From the club's own rules18+, except minors who come with their own parents (after 16:00 they must be accompanied by a parent). Numbers on the deck are capped, so there can be a queue; seniors, people with disabilities, neighbours living within 500 m and guests with children can skip it. No reservations, dogs on a lead are welcome.
