ARC Music Festival 2026: Chicago Dates, Line Up and Four Day Guide

ARC Music Festival 2026 runs from 4 to 7 September at Union Park in Chicago, the first four day edition in the festival history. Dates, line up, stages and passes.

ARC Music Festival returns to Union Park in Chicago from 4 to 7 September 2026, and for the first time in its history the Labor Day weekend event runs across four days instead of three. More than 100 artists are booked across four stages, with Anyma, Underworld, Michael Bibi, Honey Dijon and Sara Landry presenting ETERNALISM leading the bill.

ARC’s own recap of the 2025 edition, the last three day version of the festival.

What the fourth day actually adds

The extra day comes with an extra stage. The Midway joins returning areas The Grid, Expansions and Area 909, and its name pulls from three separate pieces of Chicago: the Midway Plaisance, Midway International Airport, and the Midway Gardens that Frank Lloyd Wright designed in 1914. Co-founder John Curley put the expansion in plain terms, saying the festival hits the same wall every year, wanting to include more artists than the schedule allows.

The line up

Past the headliners, the 2026 booking leans hard on back to back sets: Green Velvet b2b Josh Baker, The Blessed Madonna b2b Lil’ Louis, Joy Orbison b2b Ben UFO, DJ Gigola b2b Skin On Skin, and Vintage Culture b2b Damian Lazarus. Detroit Love arrives with Carl Craig, Moodymann and Stacey Pullen. The rest of the spread runs from Mochakk, Mau P, Chris Stussy and Chase and Status through to Brutalismus 3000, Nia Archives b2b X CLUB, salute and MCR-T.

Chicago is still the whole point

ARC’s strongest card has never been the size of its headline names. Derrick Carter, Mike Dunn, Lil’ Louis, Green Velvet and Honey Dijon are all on the 2026 bill, and each belongs to the lineage that built house music here before it travelled anywhere else. Booking them in Union Park is not nostalgia programming, it is a home fixture.

Dates, passes and what is not out yet

The festival runs Friday 4 September to Monday 7 September at Union Park, 1501 West Randolph Street. Passes are sold as four day GA, four day Global (VIP) and four day ICON (VIP+), with single day tickets available for each of the four days. Set times had not been published at the time of writing, so day by day planning is still guesswork. ARC After Dark, the official afterparty series, runs Thursday through Monday across venues around the city.

The Techno Airlines view

Four day festivals usually stretch a line up until it goes thin. ARC has spent the extra room on heritage bookings and long back to back sets instead, the format that benefits most from a bigger clock. The open question is the site: Union Park’s 13.5 acres absorbed three days without feeling cramped, and a fourth stage on a fourth day tests that footprint properly.
