Brazilian collective takes over curation for events at Twenty Two after Irish club partners with Eden Ibiza.

At the end of 2023, Eden Ibiza, one of Europe’s and the world’s most iconic clubs, launched a partnership with Dublin’s renowned Twenty Two, kicking off a 16-week party series every Saturday. The curation naturally involved local collectives from the Irish capital, including Real Talks, a label led by Brazilian artist Royce Laroca, which took over the programming for the “The Library” stage on three occasions and later assumed full curation of the venue.

For those who’ve never experienced Eden Ibiza firsthand, the energy recreated at Twenty Two’s dancefloors was among the best. Real Talks’ first curated night in November 2024 featured British DJ Josh Butler as the headliner. In December 2024, their second event brought Darius Syrossian (head of Moxy Muzik) to the forefront, followed by a magical New Year’s Eve party with Melon Bomb.

At their final edition, Real Talks also had the chance to take over the entire venue, headlined by Irish artist Andrew Azara, showcasing the underground talent within the country’s scene. Laroca said;

What an incredible experience! First, the feeling of recognition for the brand, being invited as one of the city’s leading collectives to collaborate with clubs like Eden Ibiza, hosting artists like Josh Butler, Darius, Melon Bomb, connecting with our residents and local talent, and closing the series with Azara — a DJ and producer we’ve admired for a while — was the perfect golden touch.

Now, the label continues to fuel its momentum with major events on the horizon. On March 29th, 2025, they partnered with Dublin collective Groove Selectas at Opium Club, headlined by Parisian artist Gabriel Belabbas (co-founder of Positive Future and known for releases on Automatic Writing Music, Distrikt Paris, Real Tone Records, and Treasure Rds). Next, on April 4th, 2025, New Yorker Zach G will take over the decks at Pawn Shop. More events are set to be announced later this month.

Real Talks, a Brazilian collective, has become essential to the growth of Ireland’s local electronic scene. Beyond organizing events, they craft immersive experiences blending music and art, championing inclusivity, fostering collaboration, and emphasizing a unique element often overlooked: vinyl DJing.

Soon, the collective will expand further by launching its own label, Real Talks Records, debuting with a special VA compilation — naturally, released on vinyl. Follow them on Instagram to stay updated on their next moves.
