ADE 2026: Charlie Sparks, SESH and SXM Festival Add Four Parties
Charlie Sparks takes ELEKTRA to Warehouse Elementenstraat, SESH lands with Clara Cuve and Alignment, and SXM Festival runs two parties before its 2027 anniversary. Four new ADE 2026 shows, three of them on Wednesday.
Four more parties have been added to the Amsterdam Dance Event schedule, and three of them fall on Wednesday 21 October, still the thinnest night on most ADE itineraries. Charlie Sparks hands his own ELEKTRA label a full night at Warehouse Elementenstraat, SXM Festival takes over two venues across the city, and Berlin collective SESH moves into Elementenstraat the following afternoon with Clara Cuvé at the top of the bill.
Charlie Sparks gives ELEKTRA the whole night
Charlie Sparks is bringing ELEKTRA, the label and clothing brand he runs himself, to Warehouse Elementenstraat on Wednesday 21 October from 23:00 to 06:00. The night is built almost entirely on back to back sets. Sparks plays with A.N.I., Bassjackers, Dyen, Billy Currie, DXPE and Merimell in the main room, while Room 2 runs Sophie Reid b2b Manil, Panteros666 b2b Kirk, Afem Syko b2b Biianco, Durdenhauer b2b Kichta and Area One b2b Niotech.
The British producer works in acid, industrial, hardgroove and psytrance, with releases on Armada, Universal and Exhale behind him. Billed as ELEKTRA x Mixmag Netherlands Sessions, the Amsterdam date is the biggest outing the project has had.
SESH fills an afternoon with back to backs
Clara Cuvé headlines the SESH showcase on Thursday 22 October, a daytime into evening session at Warehouse Elementenstraat that runs from 13:00 to 22:00. Alignment plays alongside her, and the rest of the lineup is paired off: MCR-T, the collective’s other co-founder, goes back to back with a secret guest, PETERBLUE links up with Noise Mafia, Prada2000 teams up with UEBERREST, and Sumia plays with DJ Cringey. 2HOT2PLAY complete the bill.
SESH has grown out of Berlin as a collective, a label and a party series, with shows at RSO.BERLIN and ELSE at home, FUSE in Brussels and Bootshaus in Cologne, plus dates in France, Switzerland, Malta and Portugal. It hosted a stage at the DGTL ADE show last year.
SXM Festival books two rooms on Wednesday
SXM Festival runs a double bill on Wednesday 21 October. The day starts at Nido Cocktail Bar on Linnaeusstraat, overlooking Oosterpark, from 17:00 to 22:00, where Sander Kleinenberg joins German house artist Human Rias, JRK XLSX b2b Mia Lafontaine, festival founder Julian Prince and Vctor. Entry is by RSVP only.
The night then moves to The Bulldog Palace on Leidseplein, where SXM works with Electric Animals from 21:30 to 04:00. French DJ and former soul singer Adassiya leads a house and melodic bill, with Alexander Som, Javee b2b Obzeen, Meloko b2b Konvex, Mont Rouge, Tommahawk and ZSS taking it into the early hours.
Both parties set up the tenth edition of SXM Festival, which returns to Saint Martin from 17 to 21 March 2027. Sasha, Bob Sinclar, Patrick Topping, Meduza, Claptone, Dennis Cruz, Franky Rizardo and Guy Gerber lead the first wave of names. The festival spreads across beaches, jungle sites, villas, boats and hilltop venues instead of one site.
Wednesday is no longer the warm up
ADE week has long treated Wednesday as a soft opening, with the heavy programming saved for Thursday onwards. An all night hard techno takeover at Elementenstraat and two SXM parties on opposite sides of the city change that for anyone landing early. If you are in Amsterdam on Tuesday night, the first proper day of the week now holds up on its own.
