About Trance World Festival
Trance World Festival comes to Kiel on 17 and 18 April 2027, two days of trance in Schleswig-Holstein on the Baltic coast. The organisers promise international DJs and large scale production, and the festival is the main trance event in Germany’s northernmost state.
Northern Germany has historically been served by events in Hamburg and Berlin rather than anything of its own this far up the coast, which is the gap Trance World fills. Kiel itself is a port city of 250,000 at the eastern end of the canal that carries its name.
Tickets are sold through the festival’s own site, which also carries a festival guide and the line up. Kiel is 90 minutes from Hamburg by direct train, which puts Hamburg Airport within easy reach, and ferries run to Oslo and Gothenburg for anyone coming from Scandinavia. Mid April on the Baltic coast is cool at around 11 degrees. For a German trance music festival in the north, Trance World is the one.
