Shifted Festival (Berlin (Secret Forest), Germany) 2027

Shifted Festival returns to the Secret Forest from 5 to 8 August 2027, running four days of trance, groove and hard techno at a site in the heart of Brandenburg around 85 kilometres from Berlin. The venue has a specific history: it was a Soviet airfield during the Cold War, abandoned after the collapse of the Soviet Union and left to the forest, and has spent the last 15 years and more being used for events.

The organisers describe the festival as a weekend that feels like your favourite club but in nature, and are explicit about the priorities: strong music, quality sound systems, fair prices and a lived awareness policy with a trained team on site. The booking mixes artists who already shape the scene with newcomers, and the festival is independent rather than part of a promoter group.

Weekend and day tickets are sold alongside shuttle, car and caravan passes, with the site running cashless payment and a refund process afterwards. Accessibility is limited: the stages are in forest with few paved paths, so the organisers state plainly that the site is not barrier free, though they issue a free companion ticket for anyone whose severely disabled identification carries a B marking. Leipzig is 110 kilometres away and Dresden 150. It is a German music festival made by ravers for ravers.
