About Ruhr-in-Love
Ruhr-in-Love returns to the OlgaPark in Oberhausen on Saturday 3 July 2027, running from midday until 22:00 in what the organisers call the family gathering of electronic music. The event has been held in the same park since 2003 and is produced by I-Motion, the team behind several of the largest German dance events.
Scale is the point. Recent editions have been billed with 25 floors and around 250 acts spread across the park, each floor run by a club, label or collective from the Ruhr area and beyond. That structure covers the full range of electronic music in a single day, from techno and house through trance and harder styles, and it is why the crowd spans several generations rather than one scene.
Tickets are sold through the official website, which also carries the floor list once the programme is confirmed. The 2027 line-up has not been announced. The OlgaPark sits in the Osterfeld district of Oberhausen, served by local trams and buses, and Oberhausen main station connects to Duisburg, Essen and Duesseldorf within half an hour, which keeps this music festival reachable for the whole region without a car.
