Pirate Beach Open Air (Linkenheim-Hochstetten, Germany) 2027

Pirate Beach Open Air returns to Linkenheim-Hochstetten on 28 August 2027, running a one day open air festival on the gravel lakes north of Karlsruhe in Baden-Wuerttemberg. The site splits between a Beach Floor on the sand at the water’s edge and a Forest Floor set back under the trees, which is the arrangement the festival has used since its early editions.

The booking covers house, tech house and techno, with recent editions bringing in Dominik Eulberg, Anna Tur, Tommahawk, ADHS and Tomi Kesh, and past bills including Format:B on the Beach Floor and Teenage Mutants on the Forest Stage. Full set recordings from both floors are published on the festival’s own channel afterwards, several of which have passed 25,000 views.

Tickets are sold through the official site, with newsletter subscribers getting access to discount campaigns before general release, and TicketSwap handling resale. Linkenheim-Hochstetten sits around 20 minutes north of Karlsruhe by road, close to the Rhine and the French border, with Karlsruhe the obvious base given the one day format. The 2027 line up had not been published at the time of writing. For a lakeside day on the upper Rhine, it is a well run German music festival.
