About Marvellous Island Festival
Marvellous Island returns on 15 and 16 May 2027, billed by the organisers as the largest electronic festival in Paris. The programme runs house, techno, hard techno and trance in the open air, with international artists across the two days, and the Saturday runs from 13:00 through to 05:00 on the Sunday morning.
The festival has run since at least 2013, which makes it one of the longest standing electronic events in the Paris region, and the island site on the Marne gives it water on all sides. Official aftermovies exist for the 2014, 2024, 2025 and 2026 editions.
Tickets are sold through the festival’s own billetterie. Paris needs no introduction, with Charles de Gaulle and Orly both taking flights from everywhere and the RER reaching the eastern suburbs in half an hour. Mid May in the Ile-de-France is mild at around 19 degrees with long evenings. For a French music festival within reach of central Paris, Marvellous Island is the biggest of them.
