About La Machine du Moulin Rouge

La Machine du Moulin Rouge is a club and concert venue at 90 Boulevard de Clichy in Pigalle, Paris, beside the Moulin Rouge cabaret. For about forty years the site was La Locomotive, where The Who and The Kinks played in the 1960s and which later took part in the 1990s techno wave, and it reopened under its current name in January 2010. It has four spaces on four levels: the Central, a main room for more than 1,000 people with the DJ booth on the dancefloor, the Chaufferie, a basement club for almost 400 in the Moulin Rouge's old boiler room, the Bar à Bulles and a rooftop garden. Club nights run on Fridays and Saturdays from midnight to 06:00, and the October 2026 programme mixes concerts with parties such as TEAR CLUB and HEAT CLUB.
