About Glazart

Glazart is a concert hall and club at 7/15 Avenue de la Porte de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. It was founded as Glaz'art in 1992 by Stéphane Vatinel on rue de Meaux and moved in 1997 into a former Eurolines coach station at Porte de la Villette. After financial difficulties between 2005 and 2009, it reopened in 2009 after works on capacity, sightlines and sound, and the room now holds 700 people. The programme mixes concerts, often rock, metal and punk, with electronic club nights, and its After O'Clock afters run every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday from 06:00 to 16:00 with techno and drum and bass DJs. In summer the afters move outside to La Plage, an 800 square metre open-air area covered in sand.
