Lacuna Festival (Ochtrup, Germany) 2027

Lacuna Festival returns to Ochtrup from 19 to 22 August 2027, running an electronic weekend in the Muensterland countryside of north west Germany under the 2027 title A Fairytale of Dreams. The format covers three days of camping, several stages and more than 50 artists, with a 360 degree stage that puts the crowd around the booth rather than in front of it.

The booking leans towards hardstyle and harder electronic music alongside broader dance programming. The 2025 edition was headlined by Sound Rush, Karamustan, Teknoclash and Isek, which places the festival firmly in the Dutch and German hard dance circuit even though the site itself is a quiet corner of Westphalia close to the Dutch border.

Tickets are sold through the official site and the organisers describe the aim plainly: here you are part of it rather than just present. Ochtrup sits around 30 kilometres north west of Muenster, with Enschede in the Netherlands roughly the same distance in the other direction, and both cities serve as arrival points for anyone travelling without a car. The 2027 line up had not been published at the time of writing. For hard dance in the Muensterland, it is the music festival that owns the slot.
