Heidewitzka Festival (Hildburghausen, Germany) 2027

Heidewitzka Festival returns to Hildburghausen in Thuringia from 1 to 3 July 2027 for its twelfth anniversary edition, with the organisers announcing more than 100 acts across ten stages. The festival covers the harder German electronic styles, from techno and tekk through schranz, drum and bass and house.

The first names for 2027 are already confirmed. Tekkschuster, who won the festival’s own newcomer competition before building a following across the German tekk scene, returns to the bill, joined by the hardtekk trio Tekkstreetboyz. The rest of the programme is released in stages, with a timetable published closer to the event.

The site runs on a cashless system, and the festival publishes both aftermovies and a longer documentary about how the event is built, which is unusual at this size. Hildburghausen sits in southern Thuringia, roughly an hour from Erfurt and 90 minutes from Nuremberg by road, and camping is part of the standard ticket for this music festival.
