Havelbeats Festival (Potsdam, Germany) 2027

Havelbeats Festival returns to the Schiffbauergasse in Potsdam on 6 and 7 August 2027, running two days of electronic music on the waterfront of the Tiefer See in the middle of the city. The Schiffbauergasse is Potsdam’s cultural quarter, a former industrial and barracks site now holding theatres and galleries, and the festival spreads a main stage, the Schirrhof and the KUKo across it.

The event is promoted by Citybounce, which runs shows across Brandenburg, Berlin and further north, and the booking policy is broad within dance music. The 2026 bill ran from Westbam, Dr Motte, Gestoert aber Geil and Neelix through to Thomas Lizzara, Mark Dekoda, Die Gebrueder Brett, Taktstoerer and a long list of regional DJs across the three stages. The 2027 line up had not been published at the time of writing.

Tickets are sold through the festival’s own shop, with pre registration available for the 2027 launch so that buyers get notified before the general sale. Potsdam main station is a ten minute tram ride from the site and Berlin is 40 minutes away by S-Bahn, which makes the festival an easy trip from the capital without needing to camp. Sailing boats on the lake and fireworks over the harbour give it a very particular look. It is a city centre German music festival.
