About Docklands Festival
Docklands Festival returns to Munster on Saturday 12 June 2027, a day and night festival for electronic music the organisers describe as curated with a point of view. The format is five open air stages, six clubs and nine floors, running as one continuous rave from daytime through to late night.
Around 15,000 people from more than 20 nations and roughly 100 national and international acts fill the Hawerkamp, the industrial site on the water that becomes the open air ground by day before the clubs take over after sunset. Docklands has run since 2010, programming between underground names and the bigger acts.
The stages carry their own identities, from groove led house through driving techno to hard techno and trance. Tickets are sold through Stagedates. Munster is two hours from Cologne and three from Amsterdam by road, with Munster-Osnabruck airport 30 minutes away and direct trains from Hamburg and Frankfurt. For a German day and night music festival, Docklands has the cleanest concept.
