About DE REACTIE
DE REACTIE returns to Enschede on 27 April 2027, King’s Day, promising an ecstatic atmosphere, an unforgettable light show and the best artists. Basic Grooves promote it, and the event has run on the King’s Day and King’s Night dates for years.
The light show is what the organisers lead with rather than the line up, which is unusual and tells you where the production budget goes. Official recaps exist for the 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 editions, with 2024 staged on King’s Night and 2025 on King’s Day.
Tickets are sold through Paylogic, which also runs the official resale. Enschede is two hours from Amsterdam by direct train and 40 minutes from Munster in Germany, which makes the crowd as much German as Dutch. Late April in the eastern Netherlands is mild at around 14 degrees. For a Dutch King’s Day music festival built around its lighting, DE REACTIE is the one.
