About BruPaBu Festival (Kalbe (Milde) – Brunau, Germany)
BruPaBu Festival returns to Brunau near Kalbe an der Milde from 12 to 15 August 2027, running four days in the Altmark, the rural north west corner of Saxony-Anhalt. The site has a signature the organisers make a point of: a container landscape built across the grounds that exists nowhere else, alongside a food corner, drinks stands and two separate chillout lounges for anyone stepping away from the floors.
The booking covers local and national German artists, with the 2026 edition featuring Die Gebrueder Brett and 2 Engel und Charlie among others. The festival is produced by the Freak Out event agency, based in Kalbe, and runs on a stated principle of putting its profits back into clubs and partners in the region under the motto from the Altmark for the Altmark.
Ticket categories cover a Thursday pre opening ticket, Friday and Saturday day tickets, a full weekend ticket including camping from the Thursday, and a VIP pass. Entry is from 16, with 16 and 17 year olds needing an accompanying adult and a signed guardian authorisation form that the festival provides free through its ticket shop. Kalbe sits around 90 minutes from both Magdeburg and Wolfsburg by road. It is a rural German music festival that funds its own community.
