3000Grad Festival returns from 6 to 8 August 2027, with the organisers announcing a secret location after several years in the Feldberger Seenlandschaft in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The festival sits between forest and lakes in the north German summer and is built around eight individually designed stages, each with its own character, running electronic music alongside live bands, handmade concerts and experimental live formats.

The format is as much daytime as night. Workshops, theatre, performance and building sessions fill the hours between sets, with swimming in the lakes part of the routine, and the nights run under stars and lights until morning. The organisers describe the result as a temporary living space rather than a festival, carried by a family atmosphere, and they publish an aftermovie after each edition under the festival’s own 3000 year numbering, where 2027 is written as 3027.

The crew issued a statement addressing rumours about the festival’s future at Feldberg ahead of the 3027 and 3028 editions, which is the context for the secret location. A bus shuttle service called Sunny Trips runs to the site as a low emission alternative to driving. The Feldberger Seenlandschaft sits around two hours north of Berlin. For a German music festival that treats art and music as equal parts, 3000Grad has few peers.
