About Tauron Nowa Muzyka
Tauron Nowa Muzyka returns to Katowice from 27 to 30 May 2027, four days of electronic music and techno in the heart of Silesia. The festival has run since the mid 2000s and is one of the longest established electronic events in Poland.
Katowice gives it a setting no other Polish festival has. The city sat at the centre of the Upper Silesian coal and steel industry and spent the past twenty years converting that estate into a culture zone, which is why Nowa Muzyka has the kind of post industrial venues the programming suits.
Two day passes and full tickets are sold through the festival’s own shop. Katowice is two and a half hours from Warsaw and an hour and a half from Krakow by train, with its own international airport 40 minutes from the centre. Late May in Silesia is mild at around 19 degrees. Official aftermovies exist for the 2022, 2025 and 2026 editions. For a Polish music festival, Tauron Nowa Muzyka is the one with the deepest roots.
