Calvin Harris and Hardwell Close a Record Dance Valley 2026
Dance Valley 2026 drew a record 30,000 to Spaarnwoude on 8 August, with Calvin Harris, Hardwell and Fisher leading more than 70 artists across seven stages.
Spaarnwoude, 10 August 2026. Dance Valley wrapped its 2026 edition on Saturday 8 August with 30,000 people in the Spaarnwoude recreation area, the largest turnout in the festival’s history. Headline sets from Calvin Harris, Hardwell and Fisher anchored a bill of more than 70 artists across seven stages, and the day confirmed Dance Valley’s standing as the biggest one-day dance festival in the Netherlands.
A record turnout in the valley
Hardwell closed the mainstage, returning to the Dance Valley site for the first time since his comeback. For the Dutch producer it played out as a home fixture: a packed valley moved with him for ninety minutes, from the first record to the last. Calvin Harris had taken the same stage earlier, running through ninety minutes of hits that reached from his early club tracks to his more recent releases. Fisher kept the field moving through the early evening with a set that slid between house and the harder end of his catalogue, following turns from Maddix, Cyril and D-Rashid.
Seven stages, one bill
The Trance by Trancecoor stage put trance and progressive front and centre, with Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, Aly & Fila, Marco V and Ruben de Ronde. It stayed busy all day, a reminder that this corner of the programme still pulls its own loyal crowd to Spaarnwoude. The REBL City by Outsiders stage handled the harder material through Ran-D, Radical Redemption, Korsakoff, Outsiders and Darkraver. Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo closed it out, first back to back with Outsiders and then with a set of their own, and the mix of the duo’s rave classics and the Outsiders sound made for one of the busiest finishes on site.
The Future stage leaned on Dutch house with Laidback Luke, Chuckie, Quintino, Gregor Salto and Dyna. The techno stage ran Pan-Pot, Korolova, Innellea and Konstantin Sibold, while House Berg gave room to Benny Rodrigues, Eva Vrijdag and DART b2b Kara Okay. At the HQ stage the Dance Valley classics took over with Yoji Biomehanika and Tom Harding, two names tied to the festival since its early years.
Across the seven stages, visitors from the first editions stood alongside a newer generation of festival-goers. After a well-received anniversary edition in 2025, Dance Valley welcomed more than 30,000 people this year, its biggest edition yet.
The TA read
Hardwell’s return carried more weight than a single headline slot. Bringing his comeback back to the ground where his career started, in front of the biggest crowd the festival has ever drawn, is the kind of homecoming a festival season is later measured against. It reads less like a closing set and more like a marker for where the Dutch main room sits right now.
