Wildeburg (Kraggenburg, Netherlands) 2027

Wildeburg returns to the woods near Kraggenburg in the Dutch Noordoostpolder from 8 to 11 July 2027, running four days and nights in a forest site that the organisers keep deliberately low key. The first ticket allocation is released to the mailing list before any public sale, which is how the festival has handled demand for several years.

What sets Wildeburg apart is the code of conduct rather than the booking policy. Visitors are asked to live in the moment and leave cameras and phones alone, to respect the privacy of the people around them, and to recognise each other’s boundaries. The organisers state plainly that everyone is welcome regardless of colour, sexual orientation, gender or religion, and that sexual harassment is not tolerated anywhere on site.

The music runs across several stages hidden among the trees, with sets published afterwards through the festival channels, including full recordings from recent editions. The 2027 line-up has not been announced. Kraggenburg lies about 90 minutes north east of Amsterdam by road, and camping on site is part of the ticket for most visitors, which makes this music festival a full long weekend rather than a day out.
