Oranje Zoet (Breda, Netherlands) 2027

Oranje Zoet returns to Breda on 27 April 2027, King’s Day, the city’s rave for the national holiday. The 2026 edition was reported locally as a success, and the event has grown into one of the fixtures of the Breda calendar.

King’s Day in the Netherlands is a national street party, and the dance events that run alongside it compete with free entertainment on every corner, which means the ones that last have to offer something the street cannot. Oranje Zoet has managed that in a city of 185,000.

Tickets are sold through the festival’s own ticket shop. Breda sits in North Brabant on the high speed line, 35 minutes from Rotterdam and an hour from Amsterdam by direct train, with Brussels an hour away in the other direction. Late April in Brabant is mild at around 14 degrees. The organisers publish an aftermovie for each edition. For a Dutch King’s Day music festival, Oranje Zoet is the Breda one.
