Draaimolen Festival returns to the MOB Complex on the wooded northern edge of Tilburg on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September 2026. The site, a decommissioned military depot the forest has since taken back, opens at 12:00 CET and closes at 00:30 CET on both days. The programme runs to 85 acts, with 30 live shows, 26 premieres including 12 world premieres, and 28 back to back pairings. Saturday leans on Donato Dozzy b2b Job Jobse, ROD b2b Rolando, Octo Octa b2b Virginia, Batu, Deetron, Fred P, DJ Playero and MMM. Kangding Ray and Lumus premiere an audiovisual piece called Snelweg, and Anthony Rother revives his Datapunk alias.
The weekend opens indoors on Thursday 3 September at Poppodium 013 on Veemarktstraat, where Efdemin, GiGi FM with Vincent Rang, and Legowelt performing as Zorlok Compressor each present a world premiere. The forest site itself was in doubt until November 2025, when the province of North Brabant ruled that Draaimolen can stay at the MOB Complex for a maximum of three more years, capped at two days a year and tied to annual inspections by an independent ecologist, with Tilburg council asked to find a permanent home in the meantime. Shuttle buses run from Tilburg Central Station, and a marked cycle route covers the same ground in roughly 25 minutes.
