About Draaimolen Festival
Draaimolen Festival returns to the MOB Complex on the wooded northern edge of Tilburg on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September 2026. The site, a decommissioned military depot the forest has since taken back, opens at 12:00 CET and closes at 00:30 CET on both days. Entrance tickets for the two day music festival sold out after going on general sale in December, and the organisers now point buyers towards TicketSwap. Camping tickets for the field at Quirijnstokstraat 15, open from Thursday midday to Sunday midday, are still sold through the festival shop.
The programme runs to 85 acts, with 30 live shows, 26 premieres including 12 world premieres, and 28 back to back pairings. Friday carries Shygirl with a new live show, DJ Nobu, Eris Drew b2b Objekt, Kevin Saunderson b2b Surusinghe, Kelman Duran, James K and the Australian trio The Necks, plus Los Thuthanaka and a Wheel of Fortune set from CCL, Marylou, Nono Gigsta and rRoxymore. Saturday leans on Donato Dozzy b2b Job Jobse, ROD b2b Rolando, Octo Octa b2b Virginia, Batu, Deetron, Fred P, DJ Playero and MMM. Kangding Ray and Lumus premiere an audiovisual piece called Snelweg, and Anthony Rother revives his Datapunk alias.
The weekend opens indoors on Thursday 3 September at Poppodium 013 on Veemarktstraat, where Efdemin, GiGi FM with Vincent Rang, and Legowelt performing as Zorlok Compressor each present a world premiere. The forest site itself was in doubt until November 2025, when the province of North Brabant ruled that Draaimolen can stay at the MOB Complex for a maximum of three more years, capped at two days a year and tied to annual inspections by an independent ecologist, with Tilburg council asked to find a permanent home in the meantime. Shuttle buses run from Tilburg Central Station, and a marked cycle route covers the same ground in roughly 25 minutes.

Frequently asked questions
Draaimolen FestivalWhen and where is Draaimolen Festival 2026?
Draaimolen Festival 2026 runs on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September at the MOB Complex, IJpelareweg 55, 5048 TA Tilburg, Netherlands. The site opens at 12:00 CET and closes at 00:30 CET on both days. Entry is 18+ and cameras are not allowed on the festival grounds.
Who is playing at Draaimolen Festival 2026?
The bill counts 85 acts, with 30 live shows, 26 premieres and 28 back to back pairings. Friday brings Shygirl live, DJ Nobu, Eris Drew b2b Objekt, Kevin Saunderson b2b Surusinghe, The Necks and Los Thuthanaka. Saturday features Donato Dozzy b2b Job Jobse, ROD b2b Rolando, Octo Octa b2b Virginia, Batu, Deetron, Fred P, DJ Playero and MMM.
Is the future of Draaimolen at the MOB Complex secure?
The festival calls itself a small independent crew from Tilburg whose love project grew into a festival, and the MOB Complex forest has been its home for years. In November 2025 the province of North Brabant ruled that it can stay on the site for a maximum of three more years, limited to two days a year and tied to annual inspections by an independent ecologist, while Tilburg council looks for a permanent location.
Are tickets still available for Draaimolen Festival 2026?
Entrance tickets are sold out and the organisers direct buyers to TicketSwap for resale. Camping tickets are still sold through draaimolen.nu/tickets. Draaimolen uses sealed tickets, so the download only unlocks 48 hours before the event, and a ticket carrying another name is accepted at the gate, although ID may be checked because the festival is 18+.
How do I get to the MOB Complex in Tilburg?
Shuttle buses run from Tilburg Central Station between 12:00 and 19:00 and return from the site between 21:00 and 01:30, costing 11.90 euros in the ticketshop or 13 euros on the day. A marked cycle route from the station takes around 25 minutes and free bike storage sits beside the entrance. Drivers should navigate to Swaardvenstraat, where signs lead to unofficial parking, and the taxi point is on Lombartsstraat.
