About Strange Brew
Strange Brew is an independent live music venue, bar and exhibition space at 10-12 Fairfax Street in Bristol city centre, opened in September 2020. Backers of its first Crowdfunder became Strange Brew members. Most evenings start with a gig from 19:00, and on Fridays and Saturdays club nights follow from 22:30 until 03:00 or 04:00. The club side covers techno, house, bass and disco: the autumn 2026 programme includes Soft Raw with DVS1, The Secret Shade with Lena Willikens, Talk to Strangers with Simo Cell, Bakey all night long and a Pearson Sound Halloween party. The venue also hosts book launches, art and record fairs, workshops and an Artspace. Club nights are 18+ with Challenge 25 on the door, a safe space policy applies, and guests are asked to keep phones off the dancefloor.
