About The Beat Goes On
The Beat Goes On runs at Oxwick Farm from 28 to 30 May 2027, a micro festival the organisers describe as an explosion of music, art and performance. More than 65 DJs play across the weekend alongside circus performers, food traders and market stalls.
The genre list is the point and it is long: acid techno, hard house, psytrance, NRG, dub, reggae, roots, ska, drum and bass, jungle, house, funk, electro and techno. Festivals that programme that widely usually come out of the British free party tradition, where the sound systems sat side by side rather than in separate rooms.
Tickets are sold through Humanitix. The site is in the countryside north of Bristol, with Bristol Temple Meads an hour and a half from London by direct train and Bristol Airport 45 minutes away. Late May in the west country is mild at around 17 degrees with long evenings. For a British micro music festival with that much range on one site, The Beat Goes On is unusual.
