About Le Bourg

Le Bourg is a bar and venue in the former Cinéma du Bourg at Rue de Bourg 51, in the centre of Lausanne. The Association du Salopard reopened the old cinema in 2005 and ran it for 15 seasons, until August 2020, hosting more than two thousand bands and artists across concerts, DJ sets, film screenings, performances, exhibitions and theatre. When the association left, it wished the Bourg team luck in carrying on their cultural and party project in the room, and the association itself has programmed La Brèche since February 2025. Event listings describe the dim, intimate room as a natural setting for small shows, and in autumn 2026 Le Bourg hosts the Welcomedy Club stand-up night on 2 October and the Impro@leBourg show Bourgllywood on 5 December.
