About Joshua Brooks

Joshua Brooks is a bar and club at 106 Princess Street in Manchester city centre. The venue dates from 1993 and was rebuilt in 2021 as a three-floor space: a bar with food from Po' Boys and a terrace, an upstairs Clubhouse for games, comedy and live sport, and a basement club. The basement sits under brick arches and runs a VOID Acoustics sound system. It has hosted Goldie, Sam Divine, Dennis Ferrer and Danny Tenaglia, and books house, techno, garage and drum and bass. Daytime parties such as the long-running Day Time Disco series share the room with club nights that run to 04:00, and a Tuesday night called OOPS uses the full venue. Joshua Brooks has twice won the Manchester Evening News Best Venue award.
