About Club der Visionaere

Club der Visionaere is an open-air club in a former boathouse at Am Flutgraben 1 in Alt-Treptow, where the Flutgraben canal meets the Spree on the border with Kreuzberg. It grew out of private parties and was running by around 2000; the operating company is Fish Club GmbH. There is a single dancefloor, which also plays out over a wooden outdoor area, only partly roofed, right on the water. The club is best known for minimal techno and house and for long afterhours sessions, with guests such as Ricardo Villalobos and Richie Hawtin over the years. In season it opens every day from the afternoon with no fixed closing time. Monday nights bring the Omniversal Earkestra live, the Sonnenraum hosts jazz concerts and parties, and the Hoppetosse boat nearby now serves as the club's sun deck and indoor winter location.
