About Centre Point

Centre Point is a club on the corner of Curved Street in Temple Bar, Dublin, running Friday and Saturday nights from 23:00 to 03:00 inside the Button Factory building. It set out to give the city a much-needed dancefloor, with a custom-built ground-level DJ booth, an enveloping sound system and immersive lighting. The music policy is house, techno and other electronic music, programmed with independent promoters such as SOAP, Circles and Subject, and past guests include Laurent Garnier, Floating Points, Overmono, Joy Orbison and Daniel Avery. The autumn 2026 programme includes Leftfield (DJ Set) on 24 October, Maribou State on 21 November and Dave Clarke on 28 November. Centre Point sets aside tickets for every show for people on unemployment benefit, jobseekers and asylum seekers, and offers free tickets for personal assistants.
