About The Sound House
The Sound House is an independently owned live music venue, club and event space at 28 Eden Quay in Dublin 1, on the Liffey a two-minute walk from O'Connell Street. Founded in 2017, it holds up to 300 people for club nights and 240 for gigs, with a Void Acoustics sound system, Pioneer CDJ-3000 decks, an LED screen, a private bar and a covered rooftop terrace. Other spaces in the building include The Penthouse and The Wiley Fox. The programme is mainly live music, with club nights from about 11pm, and it describes itself as a safe space for the alternative community, alt-clubs and fringe theatre. Autumn 2026 listings included FACE 2 FACE with the Reverb, Euphonic and Myth collectives, Dancehall Arís open decks and a Bollywood DJ night.
