TOMA Releases The EP “Blood Pressure” on Sapient Robots

As one of the strongest names in the Brazilian Indie Dance scene, TOMA reinforces his artistic identity by focusing on hypnotic sounds.

Used to riding with creativity the melodic and futuristic waves, Brazilian DJ and producer TOMA has just released his second solo studio work, the EP “Blood Pressure“, on Sapient Robots, the Top 6 Indie Dance label on Beatport. Following the cyberpunk idea that goes hand in hand with the genre in which he feels most comfortable producing, the artist presents two tracks that transport us to the environment of a spaceship. The EP includes a collaborative track with another Brazilian, BACCO (BR).

With the support and feedback of world-renowned artists such as Vintage Culture, ZAC, Joris Voorn at Tomorrowland Brasil, as well as Yulia Niko and Deer Jade, the Brazilian is just starting a success story that reflects his personality on the dancefloors and in the studios. Less than a year into the scene, he is already giving strong indications that he has come to bring more complex and well-produced proposals than his predecessors.

Attached to the hypnotic and introspective look of the darkest genres of electronic music, the Brazilian brings to the EP elements that are happier than those we are used to in traditional Indie Dance. Much of this comes from the vision of BACCO (BR), who seeks to explore new sensations and is always on the lookout for different sounds.

“Captain of Soul” is an intimistic track that flows with grooves starting from synthesizers, focused on the high dynamics of digital timbres. It’s as if we were living in a dystopian reality.
