Nico Moreno and NOVAH Are Engaged
Nico Moreno and NOVAH announced their engagement on 19 October 2026, two days before ADE. Their Rave Rebels b2b, "Better With You" and where to see them next.
Hard techno has its first big engagement of the season. On Monday 19 October 2026, Nico Moreno and NOVAH shared a joint Instagram post with a three-word caption, “She said yes”, and a ring emoji. Within a few hours it had passed 220,000 likes and thousands of comments from fans and fellow DJs.
The French producer, born Nicolas Bloche in Caen, runs the Insolent Rave label and sits at No. 82 in this year’s DJ Mag Top 100 DJs. NOVAH, from Antwerp, has had the fastest rise in the genre over the past two years, from her first online mix in 2022 to the Tomorrowland Mainstage in July. Fans have followed the pair as a couple for a while; by February 2026 Gray Area was already calling them one of hard techno’s favourite couples.
Five hours in Brussels, then a record together
The relationship moved onto the stage this year. On 3 April 2026 the two played their first all-night back-to-back, a five-hour set at Rave Rebels in Brussels. In July they released “Better With You”, a track they produced together with vocals by KIMI, out on Insolent Rave. Listen to it again now and the title reads like a hint.
Both had a big summer at Tomorrowland. NOVAH made her Mainstage debut on the first weekend and closed with Avicii’s “Levels”, a moment we covered in our NOVAH profile. Nico played a back-to-back with Dimitri Vegas on the second weekend.
Where to see them during ADE and after
The news lands two days before Amsterdam Dance Event, and both are booked in the city:
- Wednesday 21 October: NOVAH at Awakenings ADE Opening Night, Sugarfactory.
- Thursday 22 October: Nico Moreno at Gashouder for I Hate Models & Nico Moreno Invite (sold out).
- Saturday 24 October: NOVAH & Friends at DGTL ADE, NDSM Scheepsbouwloods.
After Amsterdam, Nico plays EDC Orlando on 6 November, and NOVAH heads to Time Warp in New York and Mexico City later in November. Our ADE 2026 guide by venue has the rest of the week.
Techno Airlines view: Hard techno has rarely had a public couple at this level, both headliners in their own right. Their back-to-back sets already draw huge crowds, and any date they announce next will be a hot ticket. Congratulations to both. We have added them to our list of sweet DJ couples.
