Carl Cox and Louie Vega Will Play Back to Back for the First Time Ever, in Sicily on 14 August

It has genuinely never happened before. On Friday 14 August 2026, Ferragosto night, Carl Cox and Louie Vega will share the booth for the first time in their careers, playing back to back at Movida Beach Club in Letojanni, Sicily. The night is produced by ADP Event with the support of Sunclock Records, under a simple billing: one night, two icons.

The pairing bridges two lineages of dance music. Cox turned techno into a global stadium sound without ever losing the club in it. Vega, one half of Masters At Work, is the living archive of New York house, disco and Latin soul. They have headlined the same festivals for three decades; they have never played as one.

The b2b is the centrepiece of ADP’s August programme on the Sicilian coast. Andrea Oliva opens the month on 1 August and Âme follows on 7 August. Then comes the big stretch: Carl Cox plays a solo date on 13 August, the first ever b2b with Vega lands on the 14th, and Giolì & Assia close the run on 15 August. A combo ticket covers all three nights.

B2B culture is everywhere now, but most pairings are booking-sheet convenience. This one is different. Cox and Vega represent the two halves of the story this site exists to tell: techno’s relentless engine and house’s open heart, both played by men who were there when the blueprints were drawn.
