About Sunburn Festival
Sunburn brings its Mumbai edition to the city on 18 and 19 December 2026, two days from the festival that calls itself Asia’s largest. Sunburn started in Goa in 2007 and has since expanded into city editions across India, with Mumbai and Pune among the largest alongside the original Goa event.
DJ Snake, Sebastian Ingrosso, The Chainsmokers and Anyma are among the names announced for the 2026 programme, which places the bill firmly at the main stage end of the international circuit. Sunburn publishes a full official aftermovie for each edition, with 4K films from Goa and the Mumbai editions available.
Tickets and the full programme are published through the festival’s own site. Mumbai is served directly from across Asia, Europe and the Middle East through Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International, and mid December is the best time of year in the city: dry, around 30 degrees and out of the monsoon entirely. Sunburn also runs an academy teaching electronic music production in India. For an Indian music festival, Sunburn is the biggest name there is.
