Sea You Festival (Freiburg, Germany) 2027

Sea You Festival returns to the Tunisee outside Freiburg from 16 to 18 July 2027, turning the lake into what the organisers call the Beach Republic for a thirteenth summer. The 2027 edition is billed with six stages and more than 150 acts across three days, and early bird tickets went on sale through the festival shop shortly after the 2026 gates closed.

The setting is the main draw. Three of the six stages face directly onto the water, the Black Forest fills the horizon behind them, and visitors can swim between sets because the wristband chip used for cashless payment is waterproof. Camping sites A and B open from Friday to Monday, drinks carry a two euro cup deposit charged automatically to the chip, and the published running times set the music from 14:00 on the Friday until 22:30 on the Sunday.

Sea You has grown steadily since its first edition at the Tunisee in 2014. It took the Heavent Award for best festival in Europe in both 2024 and 2025, and readers of FAZEmag voted it best event of the year in 2023 in a poll with more than 25,000 participants. A first wave of 23 acts for 2027 has now been announced, led by Boris Brejcha, Alle Farben, Felix Kröcher and Neelix, with the rest of the bill still to come for a music festival that sells its first ticket tier a year in advance. Freiburg itself is a short drive or tram ride away, which makes the lake an easy base for a weekend in the region.
