Thessaloniki is preparing to become a five-day meeting point for contemporary electronic music as reworks Festival returns for its 22nd edition from September 16-20, 2026, spreading across distinctive venues throughout the city. One of Greece’s longest-running electronic music festivals, reworks combines internationally established artists, innovative new voices, live performances and audiovisual projects within a programme that connects music with art, technology and contemporary culture. The 2026 lineup brings together major names including Paul Kalkbrenner, Adriatique, Dixon, Maceo Plex, Modeselektor, Ben Klock, DVS1, Indira Paganotto, KiNK, Kittin, Argy, Jayda G, Anetha, Daria Kolosova, Jan Blomqvist, Sama’ Abdulhadi, The Blessed Madonna, Alex Wann and Raxon, alongside a strong selection of Greek artists such as Ison, Momery, Myrophora, Kiki Botonaki, Decø, Athineos and Thravsma. The festival opens with Paul Kalkbrenner’s signature live show before moving through a varied schedule of daytime open-air sessions and late-night club experiences, with Labattoir Open Air and Block 33 among the key locations. Friday’s programme brings Adriatique, Ben Klock and Sama’ Abdulhadi to the daytime setting, followed by Maceo Plex, Anetha, KiNK and The Talk A/V Show at night, while Saturday features Indira Paganotto, Dixon and The Blessed Madonna among its highlights. With artists returning to Thessaloniki, highly anticipated debuts, local talent and carefully designed audiovisual experiences, reworks 2026 offers far more than a conventional festival weekend, turning Thessaloniki itself into part of the experience and creating a constantly shifting journey through house, techno, melodic sounds, experimental electronics and the wider contemporary dance music spectrum.
