Ploegendienst (Breda, Netherlands) 2027

Ploegendienst returns to the Galderse Meren outside Breda on 3 July 2027, bringing the house and techno day festival back to the lakes after a one off move to the Backer and Rueb site in the city. The organisers confirmed the return in their own announcement, framing the previous edition as a detour rather than a relocation.

The lakeside setting is what gives the event its character: water on one side, sand and grass for the floors, and a layout that stays compact enough to cross in a few minutes. The programme runs through the day rather than into the early hours, which suits a site that sits close to residential Breda and the surrounding nature area.

Tickets are sold through ploegendienst.nl, with a separate allocation for the collaboration with VBX, and the festival runs an ambassador scheme for people who sell on tickets within their own circle. The 2027 line-up has not been announced. Breda is around an hour by train from both Amsterdam and Rotterdam, with local buses covering the last stretch to the lakes, which makes this music festival straightforward to reach for a day trip.
