Main Square Festival (Arras, France) 2027

Main Square Festival returns to La Citadelle in Arras on 2, 3 and 4 July 2027, three days inside the seventeenth century Vauban fortress on the edge of the northern French city. The site is a UNESCO listed star fort, and the stages are built inside the ramparts, which gives the festival one of the more unusual settings on the French summer circuit.

The event is produced by Live Nation France Festivals and runs a broad bill: international rock and pop headliners share the weekend with French rap and a dance programme that fills the later slots. That mix has kept it among the largest festivals in the Hauts-de-France region since it began in 2004, drawing an audience from Lille, Paris and across the Belgian border.

La Citadelle sits around 20 minutes on foot from Arras station, which is 50 minutes from Paris Nord by TGV and 40 minutes from Lille, so a large share of the crowd travels in by rail rather than camping. Official camping is available on a separate site.
