Manchester’s iconic Depot Mayfield will become a vast playground for queer culture and electronic music on September 26, as Homobloc 2026 brings its seventh edition to the city from 5pm until 4am. Built around an expansive programme of music, performance and self-expression, the event will welcome a formidable cast led by pop star Kim Petras, alongside Honey Dijon b2b Derrick Carter, Job Jobse, COBRAH, S.A.S.S. featuring Saoirse, Moxie, Peach and Shanti Celeste, Palms Trax, Girls Don’t Sync, Horse Meat Disco, DJ Gigola, MCR-T, Fat Tony, Erol Alkan, Dorian Electra, DJ Paulette, I. JORDAN, LSDXOXO and BASHKKA. The 2026 edition will also feature Lady Shaka, Live From Earth, Hannah Holland, Gina Breeze, Aiden Francis, Jamie Bull and many more, giving the programme a broad musical identity that moves between house, techno, disco, pop, electro and contemporary queer club sounds. Beyond the DJ booths, more than 150 performers and collectives known as The Homodolls will bring drag, dance, theatre and immersive performance into the venue, making the music festival feel more like a constantly shifting cultural spectacle than a conventional club event. Homobloc will also celebrate 35 years of FLESH, the influential LGBTQ+ club night born at Manchester’s legendary Haçienda, with a special programme honouring its history and impact on queer nightlife. New for 2026, the 1,000-capacity Vault stage will add another dimension to the venue, hosted by Glasgow queer club collective Ponyboy, while the Depot, Concourse, Archive and Star & Garter spaces will extend the experience across the historic site. With Depot Mayfield’s industrial architecture providing a striking backdrop, Homobloc combines powerful club programming with bold visual production, performance and a strong sense of community. More than simply a night of dancing, Homobloc 2026 promises an immersive celebration of Manchester’s queer identity, nightlife heritage and fearless creative spirit.
