About SPREAD

SPREAD is a basement club and live venue in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, one minute on foot from the East Exit of Shimokitazawa station, run by YATTMAN, inc. The room works for both bands and DJs: an L-Acoustics Syva system with a Midas M32 desk, a backline of guitar and bass amps and a drum kit, and a DJ booth with three Pioneer CDJ-3000s, Technics SL-1200 MK7 turntables and Pioneer and Allen and Heath mixers. Early evenings are mostly indie, noise and experimental gigs, while late-night parties book electronic DJs and live acts, such as the entropy series with guests from Australia and Berlin and INIT with Coby Sey and Will Sweeney in September 2026. The venue also rents out for daytime events and shoots.

Entry is paid in cash at the door and every ticket adds a JPY 700 drink charge. Re-entry is allowed, with another drink charge each time, and there is no cloakroom or coin locker.
