About Rąžė

Rąžė is a seasonal café, culture space and electronic music venue at Vytauto g. 84 in Palanga, the main resort on the Lithuanian coast. It takes its name from a café that opened here in the 1960s; the original building did not survive, and the rebuilt Rąžė marked its tenth summer season in 2026. It is run by Palanga event organiser Albertas Martinaitis, and over that decade it has grown into one of the most recognisable electronic music spots on the Lithuanian seaside. In July 2026 it hosted Minimal Mondays, a series that has been running for 22 years, every Thursday, alongside Italian disco and house nights and guest residents from Vilnius clubs. 2026 was also the first season it opened in the daytime, with Wednesday morning yoga, free Scanorama film screenings, stand-up comedy and a Sunday flea market in its courtyard.
