Art Of Production: Maya Jane Coles Playlist on Spotify

Self-taught and relentlessly productive. Art Of Production: Maya Jane Coles is a Resident Advisor playlist, introducing Coles as among her generation’s most prolific and inspired producers, who taught herself on cracked DAWs before she hit 20.

The nine tracks feature Maya Jane Coles, Nocturnal Sunshine and Tricky. You will find “Senseless – Original Mix” by Maya Jane Coles and “U&ME” by Nocturnal Sunshine.

At 49 min it is a short, focused look at her production style: deep, moody, bass-aware house with a dark edge. It suits late-night listening, studio sessions and a slow evening drive.

Cracked DAWs. Serious craft. Nine tracks.
